The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is hosting their first Man and Woman of the Year Competition in The Woodlands. Although new to The Woodlands, it has been going on for the past 27 years in almost 80 cities across the country! Last year, the Houston campaign raised over $1.2 Million in just 10 weeks!
Each candidate’s job is to raise as much money as possible in a 10 week time frame and every dollar raised goes directly to LLS!
The candidate who raises the most money is announced as the winner at the Grand Finale Gala at The Westin in The Woodlands Waterway on June 1st.
Kalli’s goal is $150,000!! We kicked off on March 22 so we’re on our 2nd week and going strong!
The inspiration for Kalli’s involvement is the 2018 Girl of the Year, Willow. Willow is 8 years old and battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Kalli has a team of 23 people helping me reach my goal, and all of us are trying to win this for Willow!
There are multiple ways to give or be involved, whether big or small, it is most definitely impactful!
Anyone can donate to Kalli’s fundraising page:
You can donate or become a corporate sponsor by visiting the website.
Sponsorship comes with signage and the event, logo the continuous scroll at the Gala & in the program, a reserved table for 10 guests at the Gala, and the opportunity to nominate a candidate for next year!!! So much bang for the buck!
